trekMount Flex Solo

A bracket to consolidate components and allow for a streamlined bench-top installation. Bring your own components, wire, lugs, etc.

We’ll supply:

  • mounting hardware
  • zip ties for cable management (along the back and sides of the bracket)

A complete wiring diagram is included with trekMount Flex Ready, and available as an add-on with trekMount Flex Solo.

How it works

trekMount Flex does not include any of the primary energy system components. If you purchase these components with the trekMount, we’ll confirm that all are compatible before shipping your order. If a component is not currently compatible, we’ll send you an update to confirm that you can either A) drill your own holes on an open area of trekMount or B) install this component separately from trekMount (ie. on the wall).

Why This Exists?

Camper van and specialty vehicle builders, RV OEMs, aftermarket service providers, and countless other professionals and enthusiasts expressed the desire to use Victron components on their platforms, but hesitated because of the time and expertise required for installation. This challenge – time and expertise required for installation – is what we aimed to solve. Space savings was a bonus.

trekMount Solo is a bracket with threaded mounting holes for all of the common components typically used in a Victron system. You tell us which components you’re using, we’ll show you where to mount them, and we’ll provide the mounting screws.

With smartly placed cable management anchors spread throughout the backside of the bracket, it’s easy to keep cable runs clean (even though they’ll be out of sight).

Cooling fans are included with trekMount Solo to keep the inverter mounted behind our bracket cool.

Instead of working inside a tightly cramped compartment, where fatigue sets in faster and mistakes become more common, trekMount Solo is designed to be wired on a bench.

Because trekMount fits around the inverter and allows you to use the space in front of the inverter, and on either side of the inverter more efficiently, the overall footprint of a system with trekMount can be significantly less than that seen with traditional installation methods.

trekMount Solo is the perfect middle ground for those who want an easier/faster/cleaner installation, but still desire to be deeply involved in the wiring, programming and final commissioning of the system.

trekMount Ready is the turn-key version. Everything mentioned with trekMount Solo still stands, with the addition of component installation, wiring, programming and full system testing – all completed and quality checked by our expert team in Denver, CO.

In addition to our off-the-shelf trekMount products, we also work with OEMs to design custom rapid-deploy solutions for fleet applications.

What is the process like if I place a trekMount order?

Step 1: Work with our team to determine which components are appropriate for your project, or inform us which components you’ve already chosen.

Step 2: We create a 3D mockup of your trekMount. This is where we confirm that all components will fit, and where they will be located on the bracket.

Step 3: Once you’ve accepted the mockup, we’ll either ship your tM Solo with all necessary mounting hardware, or we’ll get started on the production of your tM Ready.

Step 4: Our team will be available by email or phone should any questions come up during your trekMount / Victron installation.

I was looking for some place that would do all the main work of connections and programming so all I would need to do is connect it to my RV. I heard about the trek mount and after comparing to other companies this was a better deal and option for me as it came to me all put together. Other companies would only send me components programmed and the wires to connect them.

After choosing to go with trek and explaining what I wanted they put together the whole system and within a few weeks it was on its way.

They were very helpful and quick to respond whenever I had questions during the installation and I had many questions. Just when I thought I knew everything something new would come up, I’d send an email and as long as they were open I’d have a response by the end of day

Seriously great company and this mount really helped solve my problem of getting it all together and saving space at the same time.

I only have good things to say about trek and the trekMount system. I was largely unfamiliar with all the equipment needed to update my boat’s electrical system and trek really helped me out every step of the way. The support provided by Dan was always super prompt (most often same day), helpful and patient with my multitude of questions. The trekMount was very helpful in saving space that I really didn’t otherwise have to mount all the equipment, and having everything pre-installed, wired up and programmed was a real time and money saver versus having my boatyard mount and wire things up piece by piece. All-in-all, I’m very pleased and would highly recommend.
