Description
The EGIS 2012B is a rugged, sealed 12‑circuit bus bar designed for distributing or collecting low-amp circuits in harsh environments. It features a compact footprint and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, offering flexibility in tight installations.
This unit supports up to 200 A total current, with twelve individual low-amp M8 terminal circuits (each rated up to ~22 A), and one high-current M6 terminal. Its sealed design (rated IP67 and IP6K9K) protects against moisture and corrosion — making it ideal for marine, vehicle, or other demanding applications.
A key benefit is the removable mating connector (via Molex MX‑150), which allows for pull‑and‑test of each circuit — simplifying system inspection, diagnostics, and maintenance. By eliminating butt splices, it improves both reliability and safety.
Constructed with high-temperature materials, tin-plated copper alloy bus conductors, and stainless‑steel hardware, the bus bar is “bullet‑proof” for rugged deployment. It’s also ignition-protected, meaning it’s safe for use in enclosed spaces on gasoline-powered vessels or vehicles.
