Description

The Victron SolidSwitch 104 is a compact solid-state DC switch designed to control loads of up to 70 V / 4 A with remarkable efficiency. Unlike mechanical relays, it draws an extremely low standby current — just 0.04 Ah per month — making it ideal for battery-based and off-grid applications where every milliamp matters.

Housed in a durable ABS enclosure, the SolidSwitch 104 operates reliably within a wide input voltage range of 8–70 VDC and handles a variety of loads, including capacitive and inductive, with built-in protection. It features a low-power digital control input that accepts voltages from 3.3 to 70 V to switch the load on, while remaining off at anything below 3 V. This flexibility makes it easy to integrate with alternator regulators, BMS outputs, or low-power digital controllers.

The unit is rated for indoor installation (IP20) and performs reliably in ambient temperatures from -20 °C to +50 °C. With its efficient design, small footprint (58 × 66 × 23 mm), and ability to multiply or expand BMS “Allow-To-Charge” signals, the SolidSwitch 104 is a modern, energy-saving replacement for small relays in both mobile and stationary energy systems.
