Description

The Zeus Omega Hall Effect Sensor for the Alternator Drive Module (AZHSADM) provides direct, real-time alternator current sensing without the need for a traditional shunt. Designed specifically for the Zeus Omega Alternator Drive Module, this optional sensor provides current data directly to the Zeus Omega system for improved monitoring, regulation, and diagnostics.

Using Hall Effect sensing technology, the AZHSADM measures alternator current without interrupting the main current path. Unlike a traditional analog shunt, the sensor does not need to be installed in series with the main conductor, sized according to maximum system current, or calibrated during commissioning.

The AZHSADM connects directly to the Zeus Omega Alternator Drive Module and provides real-time alternator current information to the system. This additional current data can improve state-of-charge monitoring and provide enhanced system diagnostics through the Zeus Omega system.

Designed for Zeus Omega

The AZHSADM is an optional accessory for the Zeus Omega Alternator Control System and is designed to connect to the Zeus Omega Alternator Drive Module (AZADM).

The sensor measures current at the alternator and sends that information into the Zeus Omega system. For installations requiring current monitoring at another point, the AZHSCM Hall Effect Sensor is available separately for the Zeus Omega Control Module.

For maximum system visibility, the AZHSADM and AZHSCM can be used together to monitor current at the Alternator Drive Module and Control Module.

Important Compatibility Information

The AZHSADM is designed for use with the Zeus Omega Alternator Drive Module (AZADM). A Zeus Omega system with an operational Alternator Drive Module is required.

This product is an optional accessory and is not the complete Zeus Omega Alternator Control System.
