Designed for reliable remote monitoring, the GlobalLink 530 provides secure internet connectivity to compatible Victron Energy devices using 4G LTE cellular networks, with 2G fallback where available for enhanced global coverage.
Unlike LTE-M communication devices, the GlobalLink 530 utilizes standard 4G LTE connectivity, making it suitable for deployment in a wide range of countries and regions. This makes it an excellent solution for remote solar installations, marine systems, RVs, telecommunications sites, agricultural equipment, and industrial power systems.
The unit includes a built-in prepaid SIM card with five years of connectivity, eliminating the need for separate data plans or monthly subscriptions during the included service period. Once activated, the GlobalLink 530 automatically uploads system data to the Victron Remote Management (VRM) Portal, allowing users to monitor system performance, review historical data, receive alerts, and access diagnostic information from anywhere with an internet connection. Connectivity can be renewed after the initial five-year period.
The GlobalLink 530 features two VE.Direct communication ports, enabling direct connection to compatible Victron devices such as SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers, SmartShunt battery monitors, BMV battery monitors, VE.Direct inverters, and other supported equipment. In addition, compatible Victron Smart devices can communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), reducing installation complexity and cable requirements.
For greater monitoring flexibility, the GlobalLink 530 also includes two configurable digital inputs that can function as pulse counters or alarm inputs, along with a remote-controlled relay output for switching connected equipment directly from the VRM Portal.
Environmental monitoring is supported through compatible RuuviTag Bluetooth sensors, allowing users to monitor temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure within the VRM Portal. This makes the GlobalLink 530 an excellent choice for battery storage rooms, equipment enclosures, refrigeration systems, and other environments where conditions need to be monitored remotely.
Installation is quick and straightforward thanks to its plug-and-play design. The GlobalLink 530 arrives pre-configured with its integrated SIM card, requiring minimal setup before it begins transmitting system data.
