The Epoch 24V 230Ah V2-T Elite Series LiFePO4 Battery is a high-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery designed for demanding 24V energy-storage applications. With 230Ah of capacity and 5.89kWh of usable energy, it provides substantial power storage in a single battery, making it an excellent solution for marine house banks, RVs, off-grid solar systems, backup power, and other high-demand installations.
Built as part of Epoch’s Elite Series, the V2-T combines high-capacity LiFePO4 technology with an integrated Class-T fuse, advanced battery management, Victron CAN communication, Bluetooth monitoring, and internal self-heating.
With a nominal voltage of 25.6V and a rated capacity of 230Ah, the battery provides approximately 5.89kWh of stored energy. Its 115A continuous discharge capability makes it suitable for properly engineered 24V systems powering substantial loads and 3,000W-class inverter applications.
The battery is designed for deep-cycle house power and energy storage rather than engine starting.
One of the key features of the V2-T design is its built-in 300A Eaton Class-T source fuse. The fuse is user-serviceable and provides high-interrupt protection at the battery source, helping simplify installation while reducing the need for a separate external source fuse.
The integrated fuse is a source-protection feature and does not eliminate the need for an appropriate main disconnect, downstream overcurrent protection, branch protection, properly sized conductors, and other system-level safety requirements.
The V2-T Elite is designed for seamless integration with compatible Victron GX systems. Native CAN communication allows the battery’s BMS to communicate with compatible Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX devices and supports Victron’s Distributed Voltage and Current Control (DVCC) when properly configured.
This provides managed charging, system monitoring, battery status information, and advanced diagnostics through a compatible Victron system.
For installations exposed to cold temperatures, the battery includes a 153.6W internal heater controlled by the battery management system.
The heating system helps bring the cells into an appropriate temperature range before charging in freezing conditions. The battery’s BMS manages low-temperature charging protection and heater operation to help protect the cells.

The battery features an IP67-rated enclosure, providing protection against dust and temporary water immersion when the battery’s seals and cable glands are properly installed.
This makes the battery well suited for demanding marine, RV, mobile, and outdoor energy-storage environments. IP67 protection is intended for temporary immersion and should not be interpreted as approval for permanent underwater installation or standing-water exposure.
The V2-T Elite architecture allows multiple identical batteries to be combined for larger energy-storage systems.
Up to 16 batteries can be connected in parallel, providing approximately 94.2kWh of total energy in a properly engineered 24V battery bank.
Up to two identical batteries can also be connected in series for a 48V nominal configuration, following Epoch’s installation requirements. Mixed series-parallel configurations are not supported.
The Epoch 24V 230Ah V2-T Elite is rated for 4,000+ cycles and is backed by an 11-year manufacturer warranty, providing a long-term energy-storage solution for daily-use applications.
