The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) has recently announced the expansion of its training program through a growing partnership with Trek Systems, which will serve as a dedicated training provider for Victron Energy systems at RVTI’s Elkhart facility.

For several years, Trek Systems has partnered with RVTI to deliver a hands-on training curriculum that equips RV technicians with 16 credit hours toward RVTI’s Level 3 Electrical Certification. This expanded collaboration formalizes Trek Systems’ role in supporting advanced electrical education focused on modern off-grid and hybrid energy systems increasingly deployed across the RV industry.

Through this partnership, Trek Systems will host recurring in-person training sessions at RVTI’s Elkhart campus, providing technicians with practical instruction on Victron Energy platforms, including lithium batteries (LiFePO4) , inverter/charger systems, solar power, troubleshooting and remote monitoring.

Trek Systems, a systems engineering and technical distribution firm specializing in energy systems, connectivity, and controls for mobile and remote environments, has been actively supporting OEMs, upfitters, and service providers with Victron-based solutions. The company’s training approach emphasizes practical application, diagnostics, and scalable system design.
The expanded training program is expected to support RVTI’s broader mission of standardizing technician education and addressing the growing demand for skilled labor by equipping technicians with the practical expertise required to install, troubleshoot, and maintain increasingly sophisticated energy systems across modern RV platforms.
